How it counts

A working day is any calendar day that is neither a weekend day nor a public holiday. Between two dates, both endpoints are included. Substitute days (a holiday observed on the following Monday, for instance) remove a working day just like the original; observances such as Father's Day don't, because nobody gets the day off. Weekend days follow each country's rule, not a Saturday–Sunday assumption.
